The Chateau was built in 1740 and has an amazing history including such owners as the world renowned Jean-Baptiste Odiot, Frances leading goldsmith who created works of art for Napoleon, the Borghese family and even Thomas Jefferson.

Today the Chateau is slowly being renovated out of season but we allow families to stay in the bedrooms. Some bathrooms are communal but by 2007 all bedrooms will all be en-suite. They are currently 2 star and we have breakfast and evening meal tariffs as well. The bedrooms vary in size from 2 berth to 4 berth.

    Guests staying at The Chateau are allowed to use all the facilities on the campsite:
  • Restaurant - Hot snacks, take away and evening meals
  • Bar with 2 terraces
  • Boules areas and table tennis
  • Swings, slide and sandpit (parental supervision only)
  • Shop - Provisions, sweets, ice cream, fresh bread
  • Full access to St. Agnan lake
  • Childrens plays mornings
